马克龙：如果我们今天软弱，就要为明天的战争做准备

French President Emmanuel Macron warned today that Europe must remain tough on Ukraine's enemy in order to avoid future conflicts, as European leaders gear up for Monday’s meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington.
法国总统马克龙今天警告说，欧洲必须对乌克兰的敌人保持强硬，以避免未来的冲突，欧洲领导人正准备参加周一在华盛顿与美国总统特朗普的会晤。

“We must enter into a new diplomatic phase … one in which we have to defend European interests,” Macron said following a virtual meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing,” a group of Ukraine’s main European allies.
马克龙在“愿意联合”——乌克兰主要欧洲盟友的虚拟会议后表示：“我们必须进入一个新的外交阶段……在这个阶段，我们必须捍卫欧洲的利益。”

More than a half-dozen leaders from the continent will attend the White House talks alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“We are going tomorrow to defend Ukraine and to defend ourselves,” he said. “We have to be feared. To be feared, we have to be strong.”

The French leader said Europe is ready to take responsibility regarding security guarantees in Ukraine and reiterated his stance that Kyiv cannot be forced to give up territory via third-party negotiations that exclude Ukraine.

“Do I think Ukraine's enemy wants peace? The answer is no. If you want my personal conviction, no. Do I think President Trump wants peace? Yes. I don’t think Ukraine's enemy wants peace. I think he wants Ukraine to surrender,” Macron said.

“If we are weak with Ukraine‘s enemy today, we are preparing the conflicts of tomorrow,” he warned.
